Colonel Jack Mosher is a retired Army Officer with nearly 30 years of military service to his country. His service includes command and operations staff assignments at the platoon, company, battery, battalion, brigade, Joint Force Headquarters and Combined Joint Task Force levels. He is the former Deputy Chief of Operations and Chief of Staff for the Maine National Guard. Colonel Mosher is a graduate of the University of Maine ROTC program, Infantry Basic and Advanced Courses, the Combined Arms Staff Services School, the Command and General Staff College (Pershing Award Recipient), the Joint Combined Warfighting School (Commandant’s Award Recipient), Joint Task Force Commander’s Course, Contingency Dual Status JTF Commander’ Course and the United States Army War College. He is Airborne, Ranger, Air Assault, Mountain Warfare and Nuclear Target Analysis qualified, while holding three Masters Degrees in Business Administration (Operations and Technology). Colonel Mosher’s awards include The Legion of Merit, (2) Bronze Star Medals for Valor and Service, (3) Meritorious Service Medals, (8) Army Commendation Medals (3) Army Achievement Medals, the Combat Infantry Badge and the Honorable Orders of Saint Maurice and Saint Barbara. Colonel Mosher has served on numerous Joint Planning Groups and Advisory Councils including the National Chairman of the Plans, Operations, Readiness, Training Advisory Council, and in service organizations as an instructor, program leader and Trustee for Volunteers of America, Maine Central Institute, Katie Jane Rocks, Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, House in the Woods and Travis Mills Foundation Veterans Retreat. Colonel Mosher is a Registered Maine Guide, USCG Licensed OUPV Captain and the Owner and CEO of Gold Star Outfitters, Inc. He also serves as a Program Leader for Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing, while volunteering for several Veteran Service Organizations. Upon retiring from the military, Colonel Mosher focuses on his personal wellness, continues his record of philanthropy, coaching youth running teams and outdoor preparedness, while remaining connected with the Military Families and Veterans communities. He lives in China, Maine with his wife Wendy and sons Harrison, Nathanial, Trevor and Orin.
